Manuel Cigala is a Payments and Financial Services specialist, currently working as Senior Strategy Manager at Edgar, Dunn & Company (EDC). He initially joined EDC’s London office and relocated to Dubai in 2021. Since then, he has successfully led and delivered over 40 strategic consulting engagements for international and domestic payment networks, central banks, government entities, global technology firms, fintechs, and national industry associations. Manuel is also an experienced advisor on M&A due diligence, supporting financial institutions and private equity investors in evaluating opportunities.

Before joining EDC, Manuel gained international experience through internships and an apprenticeship with METABEV Hong Kong in sales and marketing, as well as a research role at SDA Bocconi, Milan.

He holds an MSc in International Management, a CEMS Master in International Management (MiM), and a BSc in Economics from Bocconi University. During his studies, he also expanded his global exposure through exchange and summer programs at the National University of Singapore - Business School, the University of Warwick, and Fudan University in China.
