Yoku Korsah is the managing director of Bluechain Africa. He has been involved in payments, consulting and advisory services for 25 years. Yoku was Chief Operating Officer of the Ghana Interbank Payments and Settlement Systems Limited (GhIPSS), which he helped setup and run on behalf of the central bank. GhIPSS consolidated all the country’s major retail payment systems which were directly under the control of the (central) Bank of Ghana. These included a domestic biometric card scheme, the cheque truncation system, an automated clearing house (direct debit and credit) and a card payment switch.
After leaving GhIPSS in 2017, he ran and managed the Ghana subsidiary of the technology advisory and implementation services company, JMR Infotech Ghana, one of the largest Oracle partners and a major provider of banking technology solutions. Yoku started his career working with KPMG where he became a partner and the head of the Advisory Practice in Ghana. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA, CGMA), holds an MSc in Business Systems Analysis and Design from City University and provides specialised consulting and advisory services around technology and performance improvement.
