Karen Winton, Co-Founder, VoXo

Karen leads VoXo's business development and corporate strategies with her co-founder Christine Gonsalves. VoXo is a platform to match women who want to speak with event organisers. The platform is also a tool for corporates to visibly demonstrate, manage and measure their support of women and their career paths into C-suite. Karen spent 2018 in early stage fintech Capital Pilot to put her passion for supporting women entrepreneurs and investors to good use as Chief Growth Officer. Previously, she was Managing Partner, Nest VC UK, responsible for building the Nest brand and service offering in the UK. Her early career was spent in Hong Kong as a financial journalist and latterly as CMO of the Hong Kong Government organisation for investment promotion. Instrumental in the creation and launch of the successful and ongoing StartmeupHK initiative, she helped attract hundreds of founders from overseas to scale their businesses from the territory. Karen was appointed Trustee to World Animal Protection’s International Board in 2017. She also serves as a member of the board's Nominations & Governance Committee and chairs its Fundraising Working Group.
