Dr Wojciech Kębłowski is an urban transport geographer at Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Université libre de Bruxelles. He is a leading expert on fare-free public transport, which he has analysed in Estonia, France, Poland and China. Kębłowski also works on various practices of informal, shared and digitalised mobility. His research is a fervent critic of “sustainable” transport policies and practices, pointing out their uneven and limited social and spatial impact.
