Oliver Reppert took over as CEO of SHARE NOW, which emerged as one of a total of five mobility services from the mobility joint venture between the BMW Group and Daimler AG, in February 2019. From October 2016 to January 2019, he was CEO of the car2go Group GmbH. He has been working at Daimler since 1998 and has gained comprehensive experience in the areas of sales, marketing and communications.
Born in Strasbourg in 1974, the Frenchman studied at the University of Applied Sciences Offenburg and the Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg. He completed his studies in 1997, obtaining a dual German/ French degree in industrial engineering and a Master's qualification in industrial systems engineering. In 1998 he embarked on his career as After-Sales Product Manager at what was then the DaimlerChrysler German sales organisation in Berlin. Three years later he transferred to DaimlerChrysler Overseas in Stuttgart as Manager of After-Sales Marketing and Communications.
From 2004 to 2008 the keen motorcyclist became responsible for dealer network strategy and development at DaimlerChrysler Schweiz AG in Zurich, initially as a Project Manager and subsequently as a Member of the Board. After this he returned to Stuttgart and was appointed a Member of the Board for Global Business Management of Daimler AG, with responsibility for regional strategy in China, India and Russia.
At the end of 2010 he joined the sales division at smart as Head of Department and in 2013 took over as Head of Sales for smart Germany. Since November 2014, the father of three children has been Head of Brand and Product Management at smart as well as a member of the smart management team.. He went on to study business and economics at the Stockholm School of Economics.
