Honore Van Rijswijk, Founder And Urbanist, Collective Urban Strategies

Honoré van Rijswijk founded studio collective with the intention to bring strategic thinking to the foreground of urban transformation. He is passionate about developing responsive urban design instruments which promote interaction and initiate sharing.

Honoré has significant experience in major urban regeneration and development in Europe and emerging countries. This includes: city and regional strategies; mixed-use and residential masterplanning; public realm design; and transport interchange initiatives.


Honoré has extensive academic experience and leads a landscape and urban research and design unit at the University of Greenwich in a part-time role. He has frequently contributed to mentoring programmes and design reviews, including: University of East London; Kingston University London; Central Saint Martins; Politecnico di Milano; Wandsworth, Richmond and Southwark Design Review Panels.
