Henrik Falk is the CEO of the Hamburger Hochbahn AG (HHA). Founded in 1911, the “HOCHBAHN” operates the underground, bus and ferry system in Germany’s largest port of Hamburg. Henrik is prioritising the push towards digitalisation and shared mobility in the region.
Prior to taking up his post in Hamburg in January 2016, Henrik was the CFO of the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe - the German capital’s main public transport company which employs over 14,000 people. It manages the city's underground railway, tram, bus and ferry networks.
Before working in the public transport sector, Henrik practiced commercial law for 5 years, leading to his becoming a Partner in a Berlin law firm. He holds a law degree from the University of Berlin and a Masters in Economics from the St. Gallen Business School.
