Danny Shapiro, VP of Automotive, Nvidia

Danny Shapiro is vice president of Automotive at NVIDIA, focusing on solutions that utilize generative AI and the industrial metaverse end to end—from vehicle design and engineering to factory planning and production to sales and service. In addition, the NVIDIA DRIVE in-vehicle computing platform enables AI-infused infotainment, navigation, driver assistance and autonomy.  NVIDIA Automotive is engaged with hundreds of car and truck makers, robotaxi companies, tier 1 suppliers, HD mapping companies, sensor manufacturers and startup companies that are using the NVIDIA DRIVE platform for automated and autonomous vehicle development and deployment.   Shapiro holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Princeton University and a master’s degree in business administration from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
