Chris is CEO of ViaVan, Europe's leading on-demand public mobility company. A joint venture between Daimler, the iconic car manufacturer, and Via, the world's foremost provider of on-demand public transport technology, ViaVan's mission is to work with European cities to create innovative public transport solutions. This includes high profile partnerships with Transport for London and Berlin's BVG. Chris also serves as Via’s Senior Vice President of Expansion, a role in which he manages the global team responsible for the scoping, implementation and ongoing success of Via’s partnerships with nearly 100 cities and public transport companies around the world. Chris joined Via in April 2015 in Chicago, where he led the launch and served as General Manager for Via’s second consumer city. Prior to Via, Chris built next-generation biomedical supercomputing architectures at D. E. Shaw Research and developed analytics products for mission-driven organizations at Edgeflip. He is a 2004 graduate of Harvard University.
