Charlie Wartnaby, Chief Engineer, IDIADA

Charlie Wartnaby has 24 years' wide-ranging automotive software development experience at the Cambridge office of Applus IDIADA, following a science PhD. Most recently he is specialising in CAV development and is technical lead for the MuCCA project, developing a cooperative autonomous collision avoidance system based on IDIADA's own IDAPT GPU-based computing platform, demonstrated for real on full-size cars.
