Joshua Arvizu is currently a Sr. Project Manager for Volvo Group for Heavy-Haul BEV truck Cooling Systems, but also is a Champion and co-leader for the cross-functional Sustainability Core Team for Volvo Group North America.  Joshua received his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of New Mexico followed by his Masters of Science in Engineering Design and Manufacturing from Stanford University. He worked 7 years in both the Aerospace and Aviation industries before spending the last 11 years in the Transportation industry. As a leader for Volvo’s North American Sustainability Core Team, his focus is help build, direct, manage, network and collaborate all ideas and infrastructure necessary to ensure meet and exceed Volvo’s sustainability objectives and long-term goals. Along with his exceptional team, he is committed to help Volvo Group be a global pioneer in Sustainability. He is also a proud father and an accomplished musician of 35 years, who enjoys snowboarding, wakeboard, scuba diving and fitness.
