Jochem Verheul, Founder And Chief Executive Officer, Itsavirus

Jochem has been a technology entrepreneur for the past 15 years. He holds a MSc degree in Economic Sociology from the Erasmus University Rotterdam. During his study he started a small e-commerce company. After he graduated in 2009, Jochem founded Itsavirus, a software and interaction design company with clients like Heineken and Shell. Itsavirus designed and developed large digital platforms, always with a focus on innovative projects and experimenting with new technology. Within the walls of Itsavirus, Jochem created new technology ventures in the field of blockchain and AI and digital marketplaces. In 2018 he was responsible for the first real life implementation of blockchain technology in public transport. In 2019 he founded the Open Mobility Network; a non profit organisation that develops open source blockchain technology for the mobility industry.
