A life-long auto enthusiast:
Jessika is the oldest of three daughters born to an avid 1960’s Mustang collector. She was raised as an auto enthusiast and spent summer weekends passing her dad various wrenches, attending car shows, and bonding over classic cars. Meanwhile, her passion for math and science earned her an academic scholarship to Stanford where she majored in behavioral biology and evolution.
A career in large data-set analysis and pattern recognition for business insights:
Inspired by the big data trends emerging for analysis of large volumes of genomic data, Jessika pursued a Masters concentrating on decision theory and predictive analytics. She then worked at NASA Ames Research Center, focused on bioinformatics, prior to being recruited by Deloitte Consulting in the fall of 2007. Jessika spent the next few years working as a management consultant specializing in assessing the data landscape within an enterprise, crafting a holistic strategy, and building business intelligence and data warehouse platforms and dashboards for Fortune 100 customers. Ultimately her childhood passion pulled her toward an automotive insurance project with early testing of telematics technology for actuarial risk modeling. Rekindling her love of cars, she was drawn to eBay Motors, the world’s number one automotive website, where she was first tasked with building out an inventory classification engine for real-time marketing insights customized to each of the 14 million monthly automotive shoppers on eBay.com.
Simply stated: Jessika loves cars and data driven insights. Merging her two interests to launch CarForce was inevitable.
