Jason Levine | Executive Director
Center for Auto Safety

Jason Levine, Executive Director, Center for Auto Safety

Jason Levine is the Executive Director of the Center for Auto Safety. He is a consumer protection advocate by choice and an attorney by training. Since 1970, the Center has been the nation’s premier independent non-profit advocacy organization focused on auto safety, quality, and fuel economy. On behalf of our members, and all drivers, passengers, and pedestrians, the Center works every day to get unsafe cars and trucks off the road as quickly as possible and to improve the safety of the next generation of vehicles through minimum performance standards.
Mr. Levine is frequently called on to provide a voice for consumers on the topic of auto safety on by Congress as well as network, cable, and local television and newspapers across the country.
Prior to joining the Center for Auto Safety in 2017, Jason was appointed to management and policy positions in four federal agencies over the course of two presidential administrations.  Before joining public service, he worked as an attorney in private practice in Washington, DC.
