Felipe Freitas is a senior executive with 20 years of experience in procurement and supply chain. As head of non-cells raw materials purchasing and supply chain management at Rivian, he is responsible for the purchasing of steel, aluminum, resins, composites, fasteners, static sealers, paint, chemicals, bulk products, and metals recycling. Freitas also spearheaded procurement and supply chain for +11 years at Petrobras, delivering multi-billion dollars in cost savings. Prior to Rivian, Freitas was a Lead Global Supply Manager at Tesla, leading a team of Global Supply Managers and Industrialization Engineers in the Raw Materials organization, overseeing commodities globally, from strategy to execution, in Asia, Europe and North America. Freitas has an MS in Management from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and international certification (CPSM®) in Supply Chain Management.
