Casper Rasmussen is the CEO and co-founder of Monta. Monta is a provider of an operating system for hardware-independent charge point management and billing, founded in 2020 in Copenhagen by a team of 8 people. The company now has over 270 employees in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Austria and Ireland.
Casper served for three years and a half both as a CEO and CTO of the company, before focusing on a full-time CEO role to grow and expand the business in June 2024.
Before founding Monta, Casper Rasmussen was CTO of the Monstar Lab Group. Here his focus was on developing, optimizing and strengthening the group's global technology strategy. He was responsible for 800 engineers at 20 locations worldwide.
Before that, Casper was CTO and partner at Nodes. He joined in 2011 as an Android developer, built up an excellent technology department and initiated several projects. He also presented at numerous events, launched a tech blog and developed NStack, a backup-as-a-service solution. At the end of 2019, Rasmussen and his two partners sold the company to Monstar Lab.
In addition to his role as CTO, Casper Rasmussen has in the past been a consultant for companies such as TrainAway.Fit, Subit, Ducksuite and Vapor.
Casper Rasmussen graduated from the Technical University of Denmark with a Master of Science in Engineering and Digital Media, and a Bachelor of Engineering as an electrical engineer.
