Tomasz Mazur (63 years old) was born in a mountainous area at the Polish/Czech boarder. He studied Electrical Engineering and collected his first professional experience as a young research and commissioning engineer in Germany on the field of linear propulsion systems for high-speed Maglev and conventional train systems.
 
Continuing his mission for railways, he went on to China executing Shanghai Maglev Transrapid project, led Rail Services in Bangkok / Thailand and in ASEAN region.
 
In the last 36 years he has been working in various railway disciplines incl. research/development, engineering, manufacturing, sales and business development, project management and rail services.
 
He assumes the CEO responsibility of Siemens Mobility Limited Thailand and the Board of Director and Vice Chair of Rail & Road Infrastructure Working Group at The European Association for Business and Commerce (EABC), whose objectives are to advocate member interests, to support European business in Thailand and to promote Thailand as an attractive partner for European foreign investment and trade in various industries.

Established in 2011, EABC, which acts as European Chamber of Commerce in Thailand, aims to be the unified voice of the European business community in Thailand. 

EABC’s main activities include carrying out policy and advocacy dialogues, building consensus, providing support to European businesses about trade and investment, and organizing key events to foster opportunities for European businesses in Thailand.
