Joseph Hong is the managing director of Bosch, responsible for the markets of Thailand and Laos.

With over 20 years of leadership experience in various roles for the Bosch Group in Germany and Southeast Asia, Joseph has successfully led the company to expand its footprint and take advantage of the long-term growth potential in the region, with previous assignments covering the markets of Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, and Myanmar in select business sectors.

In addition to business expansion in the two countries, Joseph is an advocate for social responsibility and corporate governance. He also sits on the board of several Bosch companies and joint ventures in Thailand and Singapore.

Joseph is currently the Vice President of the Thai European Business Association (TEBA). He has previously held leadership positions as a board director of the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), and former Vice Chairman of the automotive working group of the European Association for Business and Commerce (EABC).
