Joel CY Chang is Group CEO at Charged Asia; an electric motorcycle manufacturer, distributor and exporter of sustainable and cloud connected fleets that are competitive, affordable, and practical compared to traditional combustion motorcycles.

Charged Asia was founded in 2022 in Greater Jakarta at a 16,000 sqm zero energy “Giga-Shed” powered entirely by solar and battery energy storage to house its experience centre, research and development, as well as production teams.

Charged’s mission is to deploy 10 million bikes in 10 years to lead the adoption of sustainable mobility enabling better health and livelihoods for everyone in South East Asia.
