In 1980, the company's predecessor, "Jiaojiang Third Glass Factory" was established in Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. "Jiaojiang Third Glass Factory" began to produce high-refractive-index micro glass beads in 1986, which is the core component of reflective materials. The successful research and development of micro glass beads marks the birth of Chinese reflective materials and creates a new era for Chinese reflective materials to the world. 

Since established in 2004, Sunflex developed rapidly. 

Through integrating production, marketing and research, we established a joint laboratory with the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and established an international joint laboratory in Texas. After more than ten years of hard work, glass beads for rainy night road marking, microprismatic reflective sheeting have been successfully developed. 

Sunflex maintains the integrity of the quality control system of ISO9001, and Sunflex microprismatic retro-reflective sheetings meet and exceed the standards of 

ASTM D4956, GB/TI8833-2012 etc. They are widely applied to traffic signs on the highways and urban roads, warning marks and safety fence in the work zones etc.
