Gouranga Sen has multi-dimensional expertise in Research & Analysis of Metal & Mining Industry. He has over 20 years of rich experience in the fields of Commodity Research, Economic Analysis, Policy Advocacy, Trade Remedies, Corporate Strategy etc. in a wide range of business structures covering varied commodity spectrum - from dry bulk minerals, to ferrous & base metals to fossile fuels.  Presently Gouranga is working with Vedanta Ltd. as Group Head – Economics & Policy Analysis. He has been associated with Vedanta Ltd. since 2016 in various leadership roles. He established research and analysis at the forefront for achieving greater values from Marketing & Commercial, efficient formulation of Corporate Strategy, effective Communication, Investor Relations etc. Prior to this, he served multiple classes of organizations from consultancy to manufacturing conglomerates like Reliance Industries Ltd., Essar Steel (now ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India) etc. in various analytical role. Gouranga is a profound thought leader and has keen interest in international policy perspective for mining, manufacturing, environment, sustainable development and trade related matters and take active participation in policy dialogue.
