Dulla Mekonnen, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Midroc Investment Group

Spanning a career of 24 years, Mr. Dulla Mekonnen, currently holds the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer in the mining sector of Midroc Investment Group.

He received his B.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering and an M.Sc degree in Business Administration from Adama Science and Technology University. Additionally, he holds a Diploma in Agricultural Engineering and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

He is a veteran of Ethiopia's sugar processing industry, having served in various leadership roles in some of the oldest sugar plants like Wonji/Shoa, Matahara and Fincha sugar factories.

He then joined the Limu Coffee Farm PLC in February 2016 and later joined the Ethio Leather Industry in 2018 serving as the General Manager in both the companies.

He worked as the Assistant Managing Director in Horizon Plantation PLC in October 2019.
Mr. Dulla was elected as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Dashen Bank, early in 2021. He has been re-elected for a second term in February 2024 as the Board's chairperson.
