Dr Stephen Hilton is an Associate Professor at UCL School of Pharmacy, having previously worked as a Senior Lecturer and as an academic fellow at the School of Pharmacy, University of London. He previously carried out postdoctoral research at the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) and at UCL Chemistry with Professor William Motherwell (FRS). Dr Hilton's diverse research interests range from the applications of 3D Printing in Synthetic Chemistry and Pharmacy, through to medicinal chemistry programs in neuroscience and anti-cancer drug-discovery, scale-up synthesis and new technologies. Dr Hilton has pioneered the development and launch of the IKA Flow for continuous flow synthesis in partnership with IKA and his laboratories are also focussed on the applications of Virtual Reality in the sciences.
