Dr Courtney has 20 years of experience in laboratory instrumentation R&D and marketing, as a former director at PerkinElmer, as well as at Sartorius and Cap Gemini. He is a current director at SiLA (Standards in Laboratory Automation) and leads the European working group on Laboratory Robotics with the European Commission’s Robotics Programme, and is on the Advisory board of the projects AdaLab (Adaptive Automated Scientific Laboratory) and ROAR (Rapid Online Analysis of Reactions).
