Andrea Townsend-Nicholson, Professor of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, University College London

Professor Andrea Townsend-Nicholson is at University College London (UCL) investigating the molecular basis of health and disease using experimental and computational methodologies. She is interested in facilitating the introduction of personalised medicine into clinical practice and teaches medical and undergraduate bioscience students to use supercomputers as part of their taught university curriculum. Andrea is a member of the Virtual Human consortium (CompBioMed.eu).
