Stand 252 Hungarian Banknote Printing Company (HBPC) as a symbol of tradition and reliability, has always been a significant part of the Hungarian and the international high security printing history.
HBPC founded in 1925 and owned by the Central Bank of Hungary, member of the European System of Central Banks is not only the exclusive manufacturer of the Hungarian banknotes and passports but a reliable partner in the implementation of the full range of security printing services either on paper, hybrid or plastic substrate.
The security is our mission and HBPC uses its technology and services to protect sensitive data and infrastructure and to enhance the experience of secure payment with the new series of the Hungarian banknotes.
Due to the international projects with a long-term strategic partner our printing house gained precious experience in manufacturing different types of travel documents such as passports (civil, diplomatic, service passport), refugee’s and workers travel documents and different types of visa stickers.
HBPC is also an owner of Diósgyőr Paper Mill Co. (DIPA) a single security paper manufacturer in Hungary, which enables us to provide an absolute close circuit service to our Customers, since the raw material is designed and manufactured for the dedicated project in the paper mill.
