Yoram Oren, Consultant, Yoram Oren

Yoram Oren is an independent expert, specializing in identity documents, applied cryptography and embedded systems security. As a former security specialist for the technical department of the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, Yoram was in charge of defining the security requirements for mission-critical systems. During the past 10 years Yoram was the technical lead of some national-scale identity projects, that include an e-passport, an e-ID card and a national biometric database. Yoram’s specialties include design and implementation of large-scale cryptographic systems, PKI, smartcards, secure identity documents, hardware-based security, physical and logical access control, security evaluation and risk analysis.
