Dr Sarah Walton is a digital consultant, author, coach and public speaker and has worked in digital for over 20 years. She founded Counterpoint in 2003 to support organisations become digital, innovate and grow. She’s led national and international digital transformation project and authored UK Government identity white papers, fostered successful partnerships in the identity ecosystem, run identity projects to find out what we don’t know about Digital Identity. Trust is the foundation of good digital design and she advocates digital identity as being one of the cornerstones of building user trust. Sarah believes that behind every great identity service is a compelling and congruent story. Corporate Storytelling and the development of ‘narratives of trust’ are a core component of her digital ID work. Sarah is also a novelist and writing coach and founder of “Soul Writing Retreats and Coaching” which uses a writing methodology Sarah developed in UK Universities. Sarah holds a PhD in Creative Writing, a Masters degree in Digital Media and a Bachelors degree in Literature & Linguistics. Her digital career started when she a co-founded dot.com which led her to Silicon Valley in 1994.
