Pierre Lelievre, Senior Vice President Digital ID, Public Security and Identity, IDEMIA National Security Solutions

Pierre is Senior Vice President for Digital ID within IDEMIA’s Public Security and Identity business unit, based in Paris, France. In his current role, Pierre is responsible for the development of IDEMIA’s digital ID solutions to make citizens’ lives safer and more convenient. 
Pierre has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, working for the telecommunications and IoT industries within complex digital environments. His current focus is developing digital ID solutions to ensure IDEMIA’s clients have a digital ID infrastructure that meets their needs. 
Pierre’s previous projects include:
-    Supporting the set-up of virtual ID (vID), a secure digitalized version of a state-issued Dutch ID document rendered on a smartphone. This project aimed at enhancing security when Dutch citizens access online services.
-    Providing digital ID solutions for banks in Egypt so public customers could deploy identities for online and in-person use cases. This project aimed at driving financial inclusion by facilitating the procedure for opening bank accounts. 
-    Enabling smartphone manufactures within the Asian market (Korea and China) to digitalize SIM cards. This project aimed at providing Korean and Chinese residents with a phone that was more resistant, secure and had increased storage space.
Before his current role in IDEMIA, Pierre was Senior Vice President for the IoT and Consumer OEMs Business Line within IDEMIA’s Connected Objects business unit. Previous to joining IDEMIA, Pierre spent 18 years working for Gemalto where he held several top-ranking roles with global responsibilities. Pierre is a native French speaker and speaks English fluently. He has worked in France and Singapore. 
Pierre holds a degree in Economic Sciences and Accounting from Paris-XI University, France, as well as a Master’s in Marketing Leadership from Rouen Business School, France. He has also followed several education programs in Asia and the USA (Haas School of Business – University of California Berkeley, USA and INSEAD, Singapore).
