Nisha is the Embedded Software Product Manager within IDEMIA’s Public Security and Identity business unit, based in Paris, France. In her current role, Nisha is responsible for driving the development of IDEMIA's JavaCard Operating System in the area of civil identity to ensure IDEMIA continues providing clients with identity cards that have cutting-edge technology.
Nisha has spent her entire professional career working for IDEMIA, serving civil identity product lines. Her focus has been on developing long-lasting embedded software solutions around the world.
Nisha is an experienced Product Manager who designs and manages the development of IDEMIA’s new generations of JavaCard OS. These products are used within some of IDEMIA’s main projects (Morocco eID, Estonia eID, French CNIE etc.)
Nisha’s projects include:
- Product ownership of the new Italian CNS application (official health and citizen services cards). The Italian CNS is part of an extensive project that aims at providing Italian citizens with convenient secure access to a range of online and offline health and governments services.
- Managing products dedicated to a price sensitive market. This includes SCOSTA (a smart card) for the Indian market. This mission aims at providing cost-effective products to clients.
- Managing the development of specific applications for digital eID cards in Taiwan. This project aimed at providing a card that enables citizens to authenticate themselves securely when accessing online services, particularly filing tax returns.
Before her current role in IDEMIA, Nisha was the Global Technical Support for middleware and the corporate market. Nisha is a native French and Tamil speaker and also speaks English fluently.
Nisha holds a Master in Maths, Computer Science and Research from Université Paris Diderot, France, as well as a Master in Cryptology and Computer Science from Université de Bordeaux, France.
