Mohamed Massaquoi, Director General, Sierra Leone National Civil Registration Authority

Mr. Mohamed Mubashir MASSAQUOI is the Director-General of the National Civil Registration Authority (NCRA). He was appointed to this position by His Excellency, President Julius Maada Bio in July 2016 to provide overall leadership and guidance in the conduct and management of the day-to-day business of the Authority. Mr, MASSAQUOI has more than 15 years of enviable professional experience in administration,
management, programing, peacebuilding and consolidation; and democratic governance. He has worked with both local and International Organizations including the United Nations System (UNFPA, UNAMSIL & UNAMA).
Mr. MASSAQUOI holds an M.Sc. Degree in Development Studies and a BA Degree in English and Political Science. He has had professional training in diverse disciplines and holds Diplomas and Certificates in Contract Management, Financial Management, Democratic Governance, Project Management, Electoral
Systems, Peace and Security, Monitoring and Evaluation, Disarmament, Demobilization, and Reintegration. He has strong experience in managing and coordinating Civil Registration, Vital Statistics, and Identity Management.
He is Ambassador for ID4Africa Movement in Sierra Leone and Regional Vice Chairman (West Africa), Bureau of Civil Registration, Vital Statistics and Identity Management in Africa.
Mr. Mohamed Mubashir MASSAQUOI is a Muslim and married with two children (girls).
