Knowledge Theatre 2 - Day 2: Policing Perspectives in Countering Fraud and Forgery
"Analysing Patterns in False Documents with Formal Concept Analysis to Detect Forgers"

Countries and Police Forces should improve their methodologies, by ensuring that staff are increasingly better able to detect false or falsified documents through examination of them, and follow patterns to detect and ubicate these forgers.
In this research, we propose a method, based in Formal Concept Analysis using negative attributes, that allows Police Forces to analyse false documents and provides a guide to enforce the detection of forgers.

Jose is a Police Officer in Mijas PD since 2005 and currently an ADOFOR consultant for mathematical algorithms and software. He holds a PhD in Mathematics in University of Malaga as well as a Masters in Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence.
He is also an external researcher in University of Malaga, Applied Mathematics Dept. and writes articles related to Police research with mathematical methods published in international scientific journals.
