Daniel Boyd, Systems Engineer, Transportation Security Administration

Daniel Boyd is a systems engineer for the Transportation Security Administration. He received his B.S. in the Biomaterials Track of Materials Science and Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. After graduating, Daniel took a job at the Transportation Security Administration working as a Systems Engineer with a focus on Layered Security. Daniel was the project engineer for the Credential Authentication Technology, Biometric Authentication Technology, Boarding Pass Scanners, Automated Wait Time, and Exit Lane Breach Control systems. He has also headed multiple research and development efforts. He is currently the systems engineer focused on identity management, specifically Biometric Checkpoint Technologies.
