Digital:ID - Day 2: Robust Authentication and Verification Online
"Innovating to Secure a Trusted Digital Identity System"

The current state of identity needs fixing. Billions of people globally struggle to access an increasingly digital society or lack the necessary identification for the most basic level of social benefits. For everyone else, remembering hundreds of passwords is difficult and frustrating
How can we create globally interoperable systems based on “something you are,” rather than “something you know”?
People want a reusable digital identity that’s as simple as saying, “It’s me.” But in a world where billions struggle to access an increasing digital society or lace the necessary identification for the most basic level of social benefits, meeting everyday needs is daunting, if not impossible. In addition, cybercrime is a huge concern with most people’s personal identifiers or log on credentials stolen at some point. Mastercard is innovating in the biometrics and AI space to create digital identity solutions that can be accepted globally, verified across multiple touchpoints, reused and most of all trusted

Charlie is responsible for a major new business within Mastercard focused upon digital identity services.  This involves platform & service definition, go-to-market strategy, and associated partnership strategues within our target markets.
