Gimly ID is a 'Tap to ID' solution, implementing self-sovereign identity over NFC technology in mobile devices and smart cards for password-less login and smart access control. With Tap to ID we enable smart access control to digital systems and physical environments by the tap of a mobile phone or a secure NFC smartcard (Gimly SSI card). Thereby we can leverage the high security and privacy-preserving benefits of SSI in mobile-first experiences as well as use cases where personal devices are not allowed, not practical, or not available while eliminating the security risks associated with the common use of QR codes. Tap to ID is used for: - Contactless check-in and access control. - Physical employee badges for identification, access, and authorization. - Secure login and data sharing in terminals, and networks. - Multi-factor authentication and authorization.
