Randy Hensley, Operations and Technical Lead, Naval Criminal Investigative Service

Randy Hensley is an operations and technical lead and subject matter expert for the Technical Services Field Office – Identity Activities (TSFO-IA) Branch of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), which serves multiple missions across counterintelligence, counterterrorism, and law enforcement all over the world, and in cyberspace.
During the 2021 Operation Allies Welcome, Randy covered the biometrics operations for NCIS’ Resident Agency, Rota Spain. Randy spent two weeks on the ground coordinating the DOD’s biometrics presence at Naval Station Rota. He worked alongside  with the other stakeholders present and those back in the United States to conduct biometric collections, enable boarding of Afghans to the US, and engage on biometric and watchlist matches.
Before working for NCIS, Randy was an Interoperability Initiatives Branch (I2B) specialist at DOD’s Biometrics Identity Management Activity (BIMA) and was present when they changed to the Defense Forensics Biometrics Agency – Biometrics Operation Division (DFBA-BOD).
