Stuart joined BRE in 2003 following a Master’s in Sustainability & Design at Cranfield University. Stuart led the successful certification to ISO 14001 across BRE Group, and was responsible for the development and implementation of BRE’s sustainability strategy that was externally recognised at the Construction News awards where BRE won Sustainable Company of the Year. Stuart is the lead senior trainer in Building Performance Services responsible for the development and delivery of training for the SmartWaste ESG sustainability reporting software. Stuart is the key contact for many SmartWaste infrastruture clients which covers both new road construction, repairs and maintenance as well as the wider civils sectors across rail and ultilities.
