Mahendrini Ariyachandra, Assistant Professor, University College London

Dr Mahendrini Ariyachandra is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Building Information Modelling and Management at University College London. She also serves as the Academic Chair of the CSIC Early-Career Academics and Professionals Panel (ECAPP) at the University of Cambridge. Dr Ariyachandra's research focuses on advanced construction technologies, particularly the automated generation of geometric digital twins for infrastructure. Her PhD, completed at the University of Cambridge, centred on developing automated techniques for creating digital twins of existing rail infrastructure. Dr Ariyachandra's teaching and research have been recognised with several awards. Her publications cover a range of topics from BIM-based project management to smart city digital twin applications, and she actively contributes as a peer reviewer for journals and conferences in her field.
