Luke Winch | Low Carbon Manager
Galliford Try

Luke Winch, Low Carbon Manager, Galliford Try

Luke began his career as a Temporary Works Designer, working across many sectors including Buildings, Highways and Water. His passion for sustainability and low carbon design in civil engineering led him to work on behalf of the Temporary Works forum to produce industry guidance on considering embodied carbon in temporary works and construction. Luke is now a Low Carbon Manager at Galliford Try, where he leads the efforts in the infrastructure business to decarbonise their projects through the creation of governance for effective carbon management and championing trials and innovations. Luke uses his background in civil engineering design to critically evaluate emerging technologies and practices to decarbonise the construction industry and support their deployment in projects.
