Louise has worked in transport policy for many years. She was lead specialist for transport in Parliament, working on the Transport Select Committee, legislation and providing advice to MPs through the House of Commons research service. She joined ORR in 2020 and currently runs a small specialist team that focuses on regulatory policy and approach, holding National Highways to account to deliver the roads investment strategy (RIS) and to comply with its licence on behalf of road users and taxpayers. Her team also looks more broadly at 'future roads' issues, including digital, data and technology.
