Interactive sessions to promote networking
About the new formats
In order to stimulate debate and discussion between attendees we are introducing some innovative session formats that will guarantee to spark the conversation.
Don't sit on the sidelines, engage airlines in these interactive sessions.
Peer-to-peer sessions
The workshop leader presents a common industry challenge to an audience who are gathered around strategically placed (round!) tables. Each table is focused on a different aspect of the challenge - open debate ensues!
Fireside chats
The fireside chat is an intimate discussion between industry professionals. It is designed to get more out of the keynote slot by creating a more incisive discussion and allows the audience to ‘listen in’ rather than being talked at.
Fishbowl sessions
Fishbowl panels are similar to traditional panels but instead of facing an audience in a row, the participants face each other in a circle whilst the audience forms concentric circles around them. This witnessed conversation on a topic can be very powerful, helping to bring clarity and shared experience to everyone in the room.
Balloon debates
A balloon debate is a debate in which a number of speakers attempt to win the approval of an audience. The audience is invited to imagine that the speakers are flying in a hot-air balloon which is sinking and that someone must be thrown out if everyone is not to die.
