Siengui Apollinaire Ki | Secretary General

Mr Siengui Apollinaire KI is the WAPP Secretary General since July 2015.
He is an electrical engineer and he worked at the National Power Utility of Burkina Faso (SONABEL) from 1985 to 2014. He held various positions including Technical Director, Director for Generation and Transmission and Managing Director from 2011 to 2014.
He was Technical Advisor to the Minister in charge of Energy and Mines of Burkina Faso in 2014.
He has also been Resident Expert of the WAPP for the implementation of the ECOWAS Emergency Program for Electric Power Supply of the Republic of The Gambia from 2014 to 2015.
Finally, it should be noted that from 2011 to 2014 he was Member and then Vice-Chairman of the WAPP Executive Board and from 2000 to 2011, Representative of Burkina Faso within the ECOWAS Technical Working Group responsible for the creation of the WAPP and member of the WAPP Engineering and Operations Committee.
Mr. KI is a Knight of the National Order of Burkina Faso
