Scottish Health Innovations Ltd (SHIL) work in partnership with NHS Scotland to identify, protect, develop and commercialise healthcare innovations to improve patient care. Since 2002, over 1700 innovative ideas have been submitted to SHIL by healthcare professionals across the spectrum of disease and medical background, resulting in:

• The protection of Intellectual Property, Trademark, Copyright and Design Rights for over 250 NHS inventions
• Formation of 7 spin out companies
• Over 25 commercial licence deals within the UK and internationally
• Development and commercialisation of a variety of products and technologies available to purchase via SHIL and selected licence partners.

We are delighted to bring a range of innovative products to the Emergency Services Show including our innovative SCRAM® bag, developed in collaboration with a Scottish Ambulance Service Air Paramedic. It forms a system of advanced preparation and organisation of equipment and drugs; promoting the delivery of safe, timely, and well-governed pre-hospital emergency anaesthesia.
