He has worked in education as a Head teacher English and teacher for 20 years in Sydney and the Mid North Coast of NSW.

Leveraging technology in the recursive writing classroom

This presentation will demonstrate how to use technology to support the recursive writing process in Stage 6 English. The focus will be on leveraging the best pedagogical features of the writing portfolio in order to support teachers to:
  • Utilise technology to enhance the recursive writing process
  • Engage critically with the personal nature of the imaginative, persuasive and discursive writing and reflecting process
  • Compose effective, syllabus aligned, conceptually stimulating summative tasks
Participants will have the opportunity to experiment with their own ideas and embed this practice into their own teaching and learning units of work.WHY ATTEND
