Based in Brisbane and having worked across the world, Rachel Hinds is a pioneer in the education sector in Australia. She has more than a decade of experience as a classroom teacher, program manager, facilitator and thought partner to schools.
Rachel has a strong commitment to empowering students to be the leaders of tomorrow and a belief that all young people can make a difference to their own lives. Since 2012, she has worked at High Resolves in a variety of program management roles including direct facilitation of the program to over 20,000 students, curriculum development and strategic partnerships. In her current role as National Program Director, Rachel works with education leaders to build their capacity to implement a whole school approach to global competence. She is also the lead organiser of the annual Ed Summit in Australia, a global event bringing together hundreds of thought-leaders, trail-blazers and disruptors from the education sector and beyond to look at the evolving face of education.
Prior to her time at High Resolves, Rachel worked predominately with at-risk students and was instrumental in designing and implementing an alternative education program for disengaged students in the UK. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Fine Art and a Graduate Diploma in Education from Griffith University.
