Mitchel Davis, CTO, Dartmouth College

Mitch Davis has served as Dartmouth’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Vice President for Information, Technology and Consulting for over three years. Prior to Dartmouth, he was Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President for Bowdoin College for fourteen years. 
Davis is a high performing senior executive who is redefining the role of the CIO in higher education. He has promoted organizational change, innovation, and emerging technology in education for over 20 years. His goal within higher education is to create a generation of faculty, students, and staff who seamlessly apply the latest information and technology to their research, teaching, and learning.

Davis regularly consults with businesses, universities and faculty, speaks at seminars, and also participates on education technology committees, and business and government advisory boards. Further, Davis works with venture capitalists and businesses to deliver next-generation solutions.
