Michelle Chomiak, Digital Technologies Teacher, St Mark's Anglican Community School

Michelle is a dedicated and accomplished educator, with a wealth of experience in the field of Digital Technologies and Computer Science. Her use of industry experience to inspire teachers and students to embrace a growth mindset and her leadership in supporting and promoting digital education for girls makes her a valuable asset to the education community.

Outside the classroom, Michelle is a curriculum advisor with SCSA (WA), on the ACS national ICT Educators Committee, a senior mentor with the Girls Programming Network (Perth), and has presented at conferences locally and nationally. She is currently studying an MEd(DigitalTech) at the University of Sydney, and her “Women in CS” posters to promote girls in computing are widely used around Australia. Her website MrsChom.com helps support beginning DT Teachers around Australia as they take their first steps.
