Jocelyn is a Sydney-based psychologist with 17 years’ experience in public schools as both a Teacher and School Counsellor. Jocelyn has been studying the impacts of technology use for a decade and brings a fear-free, research-backed approach to navigating the constantly evolving issues of tech use.
Digital Nutrition™ is Jocelyn’s an award-winning framework (created in 2013) for considering ways in which we can have a healthy and sustainable relationship with technology. This framework borrows from the analogy with food to help technology users understand both its risks and opportunities.
Jocelyn regularly gives keynote addresses at major educational & mental health conferences such as EduTECH and Happiness and It’s Causes. In 2019 and 2020 she appeared on ABC TV’s Q&A panel advising on digital health and wellbeing. She is a trusted education provider with Australia's eSafety Office.
