Dale Linegar, Director, Games for Change Asia-Pacific

Dale Linegar is the Director of Games for Change Asia-Pacific and a researcher looking at how to account for values in serious game design.
Dale is the founder of Oztron, who have won a wide range of awards for their work creating serious games and simulations for education and training for universities and corporations all over the world.  In 2020 Oztron was acquired by leading Australian e-learning providers Obvious Choice, who he continues to work with as a Solution Architect.
As a board member at Simulation Australasia Dale was the Serious Games Convenor for the Australasian Simulation Congress, and managed the Serious Games Showcase and Challenge Australasia. Dale has worked as an educator and researcher at Victoria University, and is a guest lecturer on the topic of serious games at UNSW.  He has co-authored a wide range of publications related to the use of serious games, simulations and virtual environments in education.
Dale is also a co-founder of The Lab - a nationwide network of technology clubs for young people with Asperger's Syndrome which now operates in over 25 locations across Australia.
