Bruce Paris is Deputy Principal, Junior Secondary and Technology at Trinity Bay State High School in Cairns and has been part of the school for almost 30 years.

Bruce's background is as an English and Arts teacher. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Education from University of Sydney and a Master of Education from the University of New England. 

Bruce works on various topics such as STEAM development, NAPLAN, Year 6 into year 7 transition, as well as  professional development and can be characterised as a driven leader who enjoys helping others improve and achieve their corporate and personal goals. His personal objective is to improve student results by 100% within 3 years across a wide range of subject areas.

ReadCloud has an opportunity to host a roundtable discussion at this year’s virtual EduTech conference.We see it timely to discuss alternate Teaching and Learning strategies and delve into differing perspectives on the role of content aggregators and eReading software both in and out of the classroom.Even before COVID many Educators began digitalising their classrooms. Together with new software and device policies, there is a real opportunity to leverage technology and improve pedagogical practices.This roundtable will discuss how new pedagogies are supported by content aggregators and eReading software.
